How to cancel Paramount+ (Paramount Plus), wherever you're billed
Paramount+ is easy to cancel once you know one thing: who is actually charging you. You might pay Paramount+ directly, or the money might go through Apple, Google Play, Roku, Amazon, Walmart+ or T-Mobile. Each of those has its own cancel screen, and the Paramount+ website can only cancel the subscriptions it bills itself. Find your billing channel below, then follow the steps for it.
Billed by Paramount+: paramountplus.com/account, then Cancel Subscription
Billed by Apple or Google Play: cancel in your App Store or Google Play subscriptions
Billed by Roku, Amazon, Walmart+ or T-Mobile: cancel in that account
After cancelling: access normally runs to the end of the paid period; no refund for time already paid

Why cancelling Paramount+ feels so confusing Step 1: find out who bills you Cancel on paramountplus.com Cancel through the App Store (iPhone, iPad) Cancel through Google Play (Android) Cancel through Roku Cancel through Amazon Paramount+ with Walmart+ Paramount+ through T-Mobile Cancel a free trial After you cancel FAQWhy cancelling Paramount+ feels so confusing
Paramount+ is sold in more places than almost any other streaming service. You can sign up on its website, inside its app on an iPhone or Android phone, on a Roku, through Amazon, as a perk of a Walmart+ membership, or as an add-on from a phone or internet carrier. Paramount's own terms say that if you pay through a third party, such as an app store or a partner, you have to cancel through that third party.
That is why so many people sign in to paramountplus.com, find no cancel option, and assume it's hidden. Most of the time it isn't hidden; the subscription simply lives somewhere else. Bundles add a second layer: when Paramount+ is "included" with Walmart+ or a T-Mobile plan, it is tied to that membership, so cancelling the membership and cancelling Paramount+ are linked. The rule that cuts through all of it: you cancel where you're billed, not on the device you watch on.
Step 1: find out who bills you
Look at the most recent Paramount+ charge on your card or bank statement, or search your email for the receipt. The merchant name tells you where to go:
- Paramount+ itself: you signed up on the website. Cancel on paramountplus.com.
- Apple: you subscribed in the Paramount+ app on an iPhone or iPad (or another Apple device). It's an App Store subscription.
- Google: you subscribed in the app on an Android phone, tablet or Google TV device. It's a Google Play subscription.
- Roku, Amazon, Walmart or T-Mobile: that company bills you, so you cancel in your account with them. Jump to Roku, Amazon, Walmart+ or T-Mobile.
- A cable or TV provider, or another carrier: Paramount+ also reaches people through other partners and bundles. Contact the company that bills you; Paramount+ can't cancel it from its side.
If you see more than one charge, you may be paying twice, for example once on the App Store and once on the website. Cancel the one you don't need in each place.
Cancel Paramount+ on paramountplus.com (billed directly)
If Paramount+ charges your card or PayPal directly, you cancel from your account on the website. A computer or a phone browser both work.
- Go to paramountplus.com/account and sign in with the email you used to subscribe.
- Select Cancel Subscription.
- Follow the prompts. Expect an offer or two to stay; skip past them if you've decided to leave.
- Finish the last confirmation step and keep the confirmation email.
No Cancel Subscription link on your account page? That usually means another company bills you. Go back to step 1.
Cancel Paramount+ through the App Store (iPhone, iPad)
If you subscribed inside the Paramount+ app on an Apple device, Apple bills you and only Apple can stop it. The same subscription can be cancelled from an iPhone, iPad or Mac, because it belongs to your Apple Account rather than to one device.
- Open the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad.
- Tap your name at the top, then Subscriptions.
- Tap Paramount+.
- Tap Cancel Subscription (or Cancel Free Trial) and confirm.
Not in the list? It may be on a different Apple Account, or it isn't an App Store subscription at all. Our App Store cancellation guide covers the Mac steps and what to do when a subscription won't show up.
Cancel Paramount+ through Google Play (Android)
If you subscribed in the Paramount+ app on an Android device, Google Play bills you. You can cancel from any Android phone or tablet signed in to the same Google account, or from a browser on a computer.
- Open the Google Play Store app, or go to play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions in a browser.
- Tap your profile icon, then Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions (the web link takes you straight there).
- Select Paramount+.
- Tap Cancel subscription and follow the prompts.
More detail, including what to do if Paramount+ isn't listed, is in our Google Play cancellation guide.
Cancel Paramount+ through Roku
If you signed up on a Roku device and Roku bills you, cancel through Roku. Roku says your access continues until the end of the current billing cycle and it doesn't give partial refunds.
- On the web: go to my.roku.com/subscriptions and sign in.
- Under Active subscriptions, select Paramount+.
- Select Manage subscription, then Turn off auto-renew.
- On the TV instead: press Home, highlight the Paramount+ app, press the Star button on the remote, then choose Manage subscription and Turn off auto-renew.
Cancel Paramount+ through Amazon
Amazon can bill Paramount+ in two ways: as a Prime Video Channels add-on you watch inside Prime Video, or as a subscription bought in the Paramount+ app on a Fire TV. Either way, the charge is managed in your Amazon account, not on paramountplus.com.
- Sign in at amazon.com and open Account & Lists, then Memberships & Subscriptions.
- Find Paramount+. If it's a Prime Video channel, it appears among your Prime Video Channels.
- Choose Cancel Channel (for a Prime Video channel) or the cancel or turn-off-auto-renewal option shown for an app subscription, and confirm.
Amazon notes that Prime Video Channels require a Prime membership, so cancelling Prime also cancels your channel subscriptions. Amazon's menu labels change often; if yours look different, start from Memberships & Subscriptions.
Paramount+ with Walmart+
Walmart+ members can choose Paramount+ Essential (the plan with ads) as an included streaming benefit, or Peacock Premium instead. The benefit comes with an active Walmart+ membership, so it's managed in your Walmart account rather than on paramountplus.com.
- To stop a paid upgrade to Paramount+ Premium: sign in at walmart.com, go to your Account, select Walmart+, find Paramount+ and choose Manage plan. You can switch back to the included plan there. Walmart says that if you're on a free promotional upgrade trial, downgrading or cancelling the upgrade ends the promotion right away.
- To swap Paramount+ for Peacock: Walmart lets you change your streaming choice once every 90 days, from the same Walmart+ benefits area.
- Paying for Paramount+ separately as well? Walmart requires an existing paid Paramount+ subscription to be cancelled and fully expired before the benefit can be activated. If you're paying twice, cancel the separate one using the steps for its billing channel.
If you're done with Walmart+ itself, cancel the membership in your Walmart account and check your Paramount+ access afterwards, since the included plan depends on that membership.
Paramount+ through T-Mobile
T-Mobile offers Paramount+ as an add-on billed to your T-Mobile account, and includes Paramount+ Essential with its All-In Home Internet plan. T-Mobile is the payment method in both cases, so you cancel with T-Mobile.
- Log in to the T-Life app or T-Mobile.com with your T-Mobile ID.
- On the website, go to View Account, then Shared Add-ons, then Manage add-ons. In T-Life, go to Account, My plans, Manage add-ons.
- Deselect the Paramount+ feature and continue.
- On the review page, select Agree & submit. You can also call T-Mobile customer care to remove it.
T-Mobile says the cancellation can be immediate or future-dated and you keep access until the end of the billing cycle, except that cancelling an existing 12-month promotion ends it immediately. Closing your T-Mobile account ends the Paramount+ subscription straight away.
Cancel a Paramount+ free trial before it charges
A Paramount+ free trial turns into a paid plan automatically when it ends, and the payment method you gave at sign-up is charged. Cancel before the end date, in the account that started the trial:
- Started on paramountplus.com: Paramount's terms say a cancelled free trial ends at the end of the trial period, so you can keep watching until then and won't be charged.
- Started in the App Store: Apple says to cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends. Whether you keep watching for the rest of the trial after cancelling is up to the app, so cancel near the end if you want to be safe on both counts.
- Started on Google Play, Roku, Amazon or a partner: cancel there before the end date, and check the confirmation screen for when access stops.
Paramount+ free trials are for new subscribers only, one per person, and the length is shown when you sign up. Write down that end date the moment you start.
Know where Paramount+ bills you before the next charge
Add Paramount+ to On Top of Subs with its renewal or trial-end date and where it's billed, and you'll get a reminder before it charges. If it's billed through the App Store or Google Play, one tap opens the store's own cancellation screen and you confirm there. If Paramount+, Roku, Amazon, Walmart or T-Mobile bills you, the app points you to the steps instead of cancelling for you. No bank login, no account. Free on iOS & Android.
After you cancel: what to expect
- You keep watching until the period ends. For subscriptions billed directly, Paramount's terms say you can keep using the service until the cancellation takes effect, which is the end of your current billing period. Roku and T-Mobile describe the same for subscriptions they bill.
- No refund for time already paid. Paramount's terms state that paid fees aren't refunded, apart from cases where the law gives you a right to one. For App Store or Google Play charges made in error, ask Apple or Google, not Paramount+.
- Add-ons end too. If you added extras to your plan, Paramount's terms say access to them may end when the main subscription expires.
- Check the next statement. Watch for the renewal date to pass with no charge. If one appears, check every billing channel above for a second subscription you forgot.
Frequently asked questions
Cancel it wherever you are billed. If Paramount+ charges your card directly, sign in at paramountplus.com/account and select Cancel Subscription. If Apple, Google Play, Roku, Amazon, Walmart+ or T-Mobile bills you, cancel in that account instead, because Paramount+ cannot cancel a subscription it does not bill.
Usually because Paramount+ is not the one billing you. If you signed up through the iPhone app, an Android phone, a Roku, Amazon, Walmart+ or your phone carrier, the subscription is managed there, so the Paramount+ account page has nothing to cancel. Check who charged you and cancel in that account.
Usually yes. If you pay Paramount+ directly, its terms say you can keep using the service until the cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. Roku and T-Mobile say the same for subscriptions they bill. Paramount+ does not refund the time you already paid for.
Cancel before the trial ends, in the account that set up the trial. For trials started on paramountplus.com, Paramount+ says the cancellation takes effect at the end of the free trial, so you keep watching until then and are not charged. For App Store trials, Apple says to cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends.
The included Paramount+ Essential plan is part of your Walmart+ membership, so it is managed in your Walmart account under Walmart+, not on paramountplus.com. If you paid Walmart extra to upgrade to Paramount+ Premium, Walmart says to cancel that upgrade from Manage plan in your Walmart+ account.
No. Removing the app from your phone, TV or streaming stick leaves the subscription running and the charges continue. You have to cancel the subscription itself in the account that bills you.
